The Coquerel’s sifaka is a species of lemur that is native to Madagascar.
According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the conservation status of the Coquerel’s sifaka is critically endangered.
The population of the species has declined by more than 50% over the last half-century, and the current population is estimated to be around 200,000 and is in decline

I work mainly in oil with a passion for creating still life paintings that have a deeper meaning.
Added to my collection are pastel paintings featuring endangered and critically endangered wildlife.
Under the Rainbow Events have been a huge support by enabling me to showcase my art.
I have been selected for the Leisure Painter Exhibition at Patching’s Art Centre in 2024,2023,2022,2021,2020 and 2018 with a highly commended entry in 2019.
Also having entered artworks to the Sketch for Survival Competition run by the Explorers Against Extinction conservation charity I have been selected for the longlist in 2024, previously chosen as a finalist in 2022 and highly commended in 2021.
I am based in Kent and create unique pieces of art, undertaking commissions which include pet portraits.
My work is also included in private collections.
